Cocolat Drive Thru Cafe

A new project we have been working on this week comes off the back of the Cocolat competition we won for Sanctuary Cove recently - same client. 

In conjunction with the restaurant chain that will be rolling out over the next few years, the client has expressed the desire to develop a ‘drive-thru cafe’ option under the same brand. This idea seems to be all-the-rage at the moment, particularly with some of the major coffee companies i.e. Zarraffa's, Starbucks etc. 

Our design takes advantage of shipping containers to get its form - two 40 footers and one 20 footer. 

Like many of our projects, it is the constraint of having to work with ordinary materials and products that provide the design parameters. However, it is those very parameters that provide the excitement!
